Who ever thought fleece was a good idea for horsey clothes?!

I mean really! Turns out my mother was right and it is the most impractical material to make clothes out of for people who have horses! I have a navy blue fleece, currently it is dun coloured as pony is shedding hair like crazy. I have to take it off and leave it in the car boot to avoid offending people (my mum) with it! Any tips for getting lots of pony hair off all my clothing! (I think ponio needs to be vacuumed - we keep turning him out naked hoping he will roll it off but he just leaves beige hairy patches all over the field). Maybe I should invest in an all in one shiney overall that the hair will just slide off and not stick to!

I NEVER wear fleeces to the yard anymore!! Unless I've got a coat on over the top. They are just like a magnet for hair, hay and straw!!

I have found that the cheaper the fleece, the more hair that sticks to it. My £3 Tesco fleece is like a magnet to horse hair however my Hackett fleece seems to repel it! Cheaper ones seem to be more static too. Anyone else noticed this??

Fleece is a regatta fleece but admittedly not an expensive one - think it cost about a tenner. It's awful for hair and hay sticking to it and pony seems to make a beeline to scratch his head on me when I'm wearing it!

I avoid fleece too, you end up wearing the yard on your sleeve (literally ha ha haaa) and I get really bad shocks from it when I take it off, you can hear the static cracking and then I go to pat my pony and get a zap and spen the next 10 minutes scraping him off the ceiling!!
