have just placed my first order to try one of my adult dogs on it and a pup, eek! Unknown territory!

I've swithered for weeks over this decision you know:p

Does anyone know what makes the 'puppy' version different from the adult though

Not sure about the difference between puppy and adult.

The pros are that it is super easy to store and feed, but I found it a tad expensive.
Rather cheekily, I kept all the tubs and the polystyrene boxes and now go to a guy who supplies the greyhound tracks and I just decant everything into the tubs and stick them in the freezer, bit messy and more labour intensive but cheaper.

lol good on you tho!

i worked it out at costing near as damn it what arden grange is costing us now, but hugely less than going onto orijen or fish4dogs.

Ooh thanks I'd not heard of this food and just started to break the bank buying orijen for my two large dogs

I have fed Natural Instinct for the last few years, the dogs love it and I don't find it anymore expensive than a good quality kibble. Have not fed the puppy one, so can't help there I'm afraid.

well so far so good - freaky-skinny-bitch looked at me this morning as if to say ohmygoodnessyoumustlovemesosososososomuch!

I phoned them and nutritionally there is no difference in the adult and puppy, but the puppy has a smaller grind, so smaller bits of bone (they are only the size of a matchhead anyway in the adult) and no Vit C added as this isnt good for young pups.

and yes, i had to clear more space in the freezer than i had anticipated so Mr NSN came home to find 3 loaves of bread, 2 large trout and a joint of pork defrosting:o

Our 14 yr old lab had been on normal kibble all his life with no probs till about a year ago when he started having urinary incontinence all over the house! Drugs from the vets didnt help and they were at a loss, just put it down to old age.
We changed him to the senior version of this and not only does he love it, but he's stopped having any wee issues and his poo has turned into ball bearings - so all in all - good stuff!! :)
