Parked up at a friends house, went down to the beach, could'nt believe it!!

Took the horses on an hours hack, went back to the beach and it was on its way out, so we went for a paddle!!

Managed a gallop on the way back, so we went home happy!

What time was this? We went to Blackpool (South Shore) at 2.30 and the tide was miles out

Had an ace time - half of Pony Club seemed to be there too! Tide was very high but at 11.50, so it was well going out when we got there. I use the online Admiralty Easytide prediction thingy.

that must have been so much fun!! i rode on the beach once at a riding school, it is amazing, but it must be so much better if you can take your own horse.

maybe you should check the tide times next time, lol!

oops! At least you didn't risk it too much.....I wouldn't like to hear about you on the News tonight (being piled into a lifeboat!) It was a lovely day though, wasn't it?

So where do you park up?

We got to Preesall about 11.30, that piccie was taken looking towards Fleetwood about 1pm, it was only about an inch deep, so we walked and trotted to Knott End, then it was just really puddly so had a gallop coming back!
