I did and then turned and looked at hubby who was sitting there with a bottom lip and tear filled eyes....
And funny how someone said that the Amersham horses were in good condition..to see Red was a real eye opener and its the first time the public has seen with their own eyes the state of some of the horses.....This can not be allowed to ever happen again..My blood was boiling when i saw the close up footage of Red

wasn't he gorgeous, bless him, but I thought he looked sad when he was being shown close up, he had sad eyes. When you think of the improvement in 8 weeks or so, and that he is the only one that has recovered enough so far to be brought out of quarantine, three still cause for concern (out of the worst 14) I think it is clear just how bad they really were. Lets face it, he certainly hasnt reached a healthy weight yet and that is with expert care so the others must have been worse than him if they are not ready to go out yet. I wish each and every one of those horses a very happy life for the rest of their days.

I had a smile on my face when I saw him the field bucking around with his tail floating behind him, even my non horsey hubby commented about how happy he seemed to be.

Lets hope the others make a recovery like Red even though he still has a long way to go.
