What a truly inspiring and nice lady. I have had the pleasure to meet her at the back of last year and she was lovely but I didn't know even a small percentage of what she had to face in the run up to the olympics.

Now there is someone who really can be a true role model and grits their teeth and gets on with it all..can't help but compare her can do attitude with Peter Charles unfunny comments about eventers on the Jennifer Saunders programme. Anyone else read it?

Yes, I thought it was inspirational - what a lot she had to contend with in the run up to the Olympics but most of all she came across as a family orientated person juggling her children and a very physical, demanding job with far more success than most people can claim. I hope 2013 is a sucessful year for her but more importantly a happy one.
