.. at the New London Theatre?
Mum is getting me tickets for Christmas and I told her to get the cheapest ones possible which are the first 2 rows of the dress circle where it says "safety bar in view". Im not really that bothered to be honest but was just wondering if anyone has been there and can let me know if its worth it because im quite short and dont want to waste my mums money if we cant see!

I work for a company selling these, usually the restriction is apparent for people under 5'8. But although it will be in your eyeline if you're smaller than that, I can't imagine it would entirely block your view, just be a bit annoying.

I have been really really nice to my BF and dropped lots of hints, so hopefully I'm getting to go see this and stay in London as a combined Christmas and 21st birthday present. Crosses fingers and toes!!!!

Went about 3 months ago and it was absolutely fantastic. You get so drawn into it, you completely forget the horses are actually a type of puppet. Very, very clever, yes, sad in places, and I admit I had to turn away at one stage though the whole thing was done so cleverly. Would happily go again, loved it, and judging by the standing ovation, so did the rest of the audience!!! Really envy you.

You will love it, what a great gift. Did you know that war horse is on tour next year? We are seeing it in Plymouth.

My mum took me for my birthday and it was amazing. Just mesmerizing. I read the book but wasn't disappointed by the show at all. Haven't seen the film as want to remember the show rather than 'real' horses.

I did have a man next to me who cried a lot which was a bit off putting tho'!

Me and OH went a couple of years ago. Absolutely magnificent!
Had fab seats about 3 rows back, slap bang in the middle. I lasted until the foal Joey came on, and then the tears started...:D

I read the book first, then saw the stage play last year, and have to say it was fantastic, wonderful atmosphere and everyone cried at the end, including the men.I watched the film but in my view this was not a patch on the stage play. The magic of the theatre beats the pictures.

i went to see it a couple of years ago, our seats were £25 and were fine....it was amazing and very emotional and i did have a little weep and i was not alone!!!!

I went to see it there, we sat in the second row from the front. I really didn't enjoy it; it wasn't magical, I could see the 'actors' making the noises, moving the horses, and that really spoilt it for me. Would have preferred to have been farther back tbh.

Saw it a couple of years ago and it was absolutely amazing! Very moving and you completely forgot that the horses aren't real and I wept at the saddest parts...silly though it might sound.:o

I didn't go to see the War Horse film as I was worried it would be too graphic and upsetting.

Was I right?

It's amazing!! I got tickets as a Christmas present last year and it was such a great present. The horses have such realistic mannerisms. Hope you enjoy it...
