Who has their horse out 24/7 at the moment?

mine are out, with no rugs on - but isn't raining here!!

The only time they do actually get rugged up is when the forcast says there is going to be a hail strom, really bad rain, and between middle of november and begining of feb!!

Out 24/7 naked. I'm really surprised how many people are rugging up at present - mine always seems toasty warm even in downpour, and dries off pretty quickly.

Mine are out at the moment 24/7 with Amigo L/W on, but after the down pour we have had today think they will be coming in tonight, fields are just so wet I am going to end up with horses with Mudfever in Bl**dy July.....

both out 24/7 at the mo as have just moved them and their stables are not ready. Both have got good natural shelter and are both sporting LW turnouts. When I have their belongings moved and the stables ready then they will be in for a night

Our 4 are all out 24/7, have been since March. Two big mares are naked, and absolutley fine! Pony has a lightweight turnout on as we have to keep her skinny cos of lami risk, my arab is also in his l/w because he is an absolute wimp and stands and shakes at the slightest bit of rain!

2 out 24/7 no rugs

TB was out 24/7 but with lightweight turnout on, but she in at moment cos I moved her to schooling livery, so she only goes out a few hours a day

Mine live out 24/7, but they have access to 2 stables / shelters whenever they want. 2 of my natives Ive taken in just now, only because its pissing down right now and they're both old and feel chilly nowadays! Plus Ive been using the odd few hours inside during this rain for their magnetic therapy time! And I dont have any turnout rugs for them other than HW ones!!

My other 2 are out, one in his Boett as usual (it takes a LOT for him to get cold) and the other in a LW Amigo turnout.

Both mine are out at the moment and neither are rugged up. Depending on the weather and if I get my clippers repaired and clip one or both of them I will plan to rug up around September/October time.

Yup, Chex is out 24/7. Rugging is very changeable right now! He has his lw on over night if its going to be less than 10 degrees, or raining. But I'm not rugging him during the day - don't want to be too soft

Both out 24/7 (as they have been for 2 years!). One with no rug, one with sweet-itch sheet. Lots of natural shelter and despite being wet it's not cold - they seem perfectly fine.

Mine has been out 24/7 from mid may

he has spent a few nights in due to me feeling sorry for him because of the crappy weather and one nite for worming

hes got a lightweight TO on as hes a TB but hes perfectly happy living out... prefers to be out rather than in a stable.

I would normally have Mickey out pretty much 24/7 now (with a few hrs in during the hottest hrs of the day). As there are no hot hrs of the day (LOL) and he has had a bacterial infection I have kept him on his winter routine. Now his infection has cleared there is theoretically no reason why I could not revert to summer routine. But with the weather the way it is and all the other horses stabled at night I have decided to leave as is for the time being.

Fleur comes in at night - she is 27 but has always been brought in at night. Due to the horrible weather she has been going out later in the mornings - she is always very eager to get out.

Two Irish Sports horses: one is preparing to make a baby, so she has to rough off and has been out for a month au naturel. She seems warm enough and certainly very content to be out, but her coat is looking a bit patchy from all the rain.

The other is in overnight, out by day, and is naked unless it's hot when she wears a fly rug.

All the horses are out 24/7 at my RS and noticed when I was up there yesterday, bar the oldies, none had rugs on either.

But we've been really lucky with our weather recently
