Today, it was warm and sunny! When the Carrot Lady came to get me from the field, I was just haveing a nice lie-down:
She came up to me and gave me a carrot, and got all excited and said that I've never let her pet me while I'm lying down before, and that it was very sweet! Well, DUH, every time she comes, she drags me out of the field, so what is the point in staying lying down?
She was in a big hurry, but when we were ready, all we did was trot next door, to where the horse that I followed through the huuuuuuuuuuuuuge puddle the other week lives. There, we just stood around while some other horses were got ready. There was also a pony that was very yellow, and a friendly tall mare.
Then, we went for a trot in the woods, and I mean a serious trot in the woods! We all followed the yellow pony, and we had to trot really really fast, and every time we got to a big hill, we got to canter the whole way up it! At first, I was at the end, but then, I went behind the friendly mare. She tried to kick me in the nose a few times, so then, I went behind the yellow pony! The Carrot ady kept yelling at me not to run up his bum, because then I would really get kicked in the nose. I wasn't running up his bum---it's far too high up---I was running into his bum, trying to get past. If she had just let me go past him, I wouldn't have had to have run into his bum all the time. I'm a fast pony!
After a really long time, we got home again, and I was glad to get there, but we had to go past it again, and go to the place next door (the Carrot Lady said something about coffee?). There, I shared a haynet with the friendly mare, and then we finally really went home.
Now, I thought that we were finished, and I would finally get to back in the field with my friends, but no, this happened to me:
The Carrot Lady said I was so wet from being all sweaty, that I might as well get a proper bath. Now, I don't really mind baths---I kind of like the warm water, and the big squishy thing all over me. But under my tail? Is that really necessary? I don't like my tail all wet! For that matter, I don't like the big squishy thing at the top of my mane either! (The Carrot Lady thinks I look thinner. Am I thinner? Should I be worried about this? I don't want to be too thin!) Then, the sun went away, and I got cold, so the Carrot Lady put a blue blankety thing on me. It's really light and thin, so I didn't mind it so much, and I stopped shivering.
I stood there a while longer, and the sun came back out, and I shared a haynet with the young orange pony that I showed how to walk through puddles a while back. And then I got to go back in my field. And I got a carrot!
