Can anyone help or offer suggestions to try please?
Big strong horse,
ridden and going nicely in a loose ring french link in the school, no problems there.
Hacking he is waaay too strong!
Have tried the following:
3 ring gag - he tucks right behind it and REALLY doesnt like it.
rubber pelham with elasticated curb - doesnt pull too much, but he still ducks behind it a bit.
hanging cheek snaffle - seems ok in this but is still much to strong and pulls like a train.
any ideas please?
I think i need something in between the hanging cheek snaffle and the pelham, although i am fully aware that they are both from different 'families' of bits......
