Well the last pair I brought on line - the elastic was sooooo stretchy their was no way a contact would ever be held.
The pair before that - the clip broke a month after using them - (3 times !)
and the only ones i can find at my local tack stores are the webbing ones - and i personally dont think these are any good.

Does anyone know where a good old fashioned pair of side reins can be purchased from and i dont want cheap and cheerful. I want something to sit in my tack room for the next 20 years.

I've checked them out, and they do look quite good but at nearly £70 quid I am trying to find a local stockist to actually touch them before i buy.... like i say the previous 2 pairs came via the mail - and i should have sent them back the same day, they were *rap with a CAPITAL C.

Thanks for the reply.

I have a pair that I had made up by Fox Saddlers in Wetherby about 20 years ago. Still as good as new. Had them made as I didn't want any elastic bits in them at all and could find none off the peg.
