I wear a scarf at the yard but it's really bulky and I overheat really quickly (not good as it makes me feel faint ). So i've been taking it off whilst doing stuff at the yard but when I stop in quiet moments I freeze! It's a pain in the butt to be walking back and forth to the container putting it on and taking it off especially if I have to be quick.
Sooo... went on amazon and bought a buff - watched the video demo about them and thought "oooh coool!" - and was wondering who has one and what they think of them? :D

I have one! Wear it under my riding hat and it is fantastic! Really helps in not having that 'hat hair' look after riding, love it!!!

I have a couple, my lightweight spring and autumn one and my thick fleece winter one. I am rarely without one! Fantastic for stopping the chilly wind getting into the top of your coat. I hate scarves around horses, something to get strangled by if you're not careful. Not a problem with the buff tho.
Never used mine as a hat though, it looks weird? My black paisley

ME!

Think they are brilliant, bought my first one years ago for hiking and find I wear it loads whatever the weather. If it is really cold I can wear it as a balaclava, if it is warm to keep my hair off my face. Mostly I just wear it as a scarf though. The thin fabric means that you don't overheat or get sweaty but it is brilliant at stopping drafts.

ME!! I have a few as OH dad owns a bike shop, we use them for most things, walking, riding, cycling, i wear mine in the house too in winter when its cold!! Im nesh :D
Love them, i wear mine up over my head if im riding off roads as if on roads it does bufer the noise a bit too much. Love it tho as scarfs used to do my head in dropping into the water buckets or just getting loose and then cold, a good buy sure you will like it. our new puppy will have a dog buff when he is a bit bigger!

I have to confess I have 7! Can't stand cold winds. I wear them on my head, round my neck, under my riding hat, under my woolly hat. I could not survive without them now.

You can normally find the whole range on eBay. The cheaper versions are ok, but the proper 'polar fleece' buffs are great at this time of year.

Had my spiderman one on today  :D

I love my Buff! Dad got me one years ago. Always wear it to the yard, when I ride and well, basically anything that involves being outside for more than 5 mins. I've even been very bold and worn it under a stock for hunter trialling.

I love my Buff, great for under your hat and stopping sore ears or just round your neck to stop the draughts. Perhaps I could be their salesperson?!!

I have a Buff for my motorbike and it is brill for stopping wind when its up, BUT I have long hair and as its in a pony tail it forces the blinking thing back down my neck. Ive tried tucking my hair in but that just feels weird and uncomfy, and ends up as a huge knot at back of buff which then lets cold underneath as can't get hair under my leather suit really. Besides one of the best things about being a female biker is the look on the blokes' faces when a biker with a long blonde ponytail sticking out the back overtakes them ;) :D. I have to try and tuck the BUFF in my helmet and when it slides down catch it with my mouth and wriggle it back up! not a particularly fun exercise so will be investing in something more rigid which stays up next!

Anyway back on topic- useful down the yard when I can put my hair up in a bun, but similarly when hairs in a ponytail for riding with helmet its a bit of a PITA although at least without leathers on I can tuck hair in my buff without it feeling TOO weird! Loads of people love Buffs though so I think its just my overly rebellious hair tbh! :(
