Bring on the summer :)

:( Winter has only just started for me :( Sunshine would be lovely, it's a tupperware day today here though.

The sun is trying to get through but the snow clouds keep getting in the way :D It is 12.30pm and has still only struggled up to a balmy -9C. Even if I felt so inclined, which I don't;) I wouldn't ride anyway, the ground is frozen solid and we need a bit more snow yet to soften the footing.

Glad yours was...my school horse (Solomon) was very spooky being out doors today. Saying that there were a load of tree cutters going off around the fields to trim the trees...he doesnt like them.

No I missed the sunshine by about half an hour  It wasn't totally dark though, which is a definite improvement!

Enjoy the hacking! :D

I had a quick schooling sessons and a walk round the fields this afternoon in the sun. Always nice to have the sun on your back, keeps away the chill in the air.

I did. Went up to the woods and didn't come out of them for 2 hours - was just so lovely and empty and sun coming through the trees. Kept finding new tracks that just had to explored and hills to canter up.

I rode for a client this morning, took their lovely Highland pony on fantastic hack, the views were fab because it was so clear over the hills (near to Lincomb XC if anyone knows it :)). Then I rode one of my youngsters in the field and walked her out in-hand :)

Got colder towards the afternoon over here, but still a beautiful day!

Nope the knee is really hurting today :( and I'm finding other pains from our little miss adventure yesterday. But the vet has said he is ok and just a bit bruised so nothing to worry about. I also went with a friend to watch her lesson this morning and me and the po may be trying out for the rc sj team so good news really.

i had a lovely long hack in the sunshine, but it's the first time this winter my feet have gotten cold, i had summerweight breeches on, durr, got caught out.
lovely hack though, took wimpy Ellie on the big riverbank loop for the first time ever and she was superbrave and really chilled, so I was chuffed to bits. :) :) :)

Dafthoss, has the knee been looked at by a human medical person yet? :) It sounds like it may be a good idea. Many years ago I got landed on, on the road and that knee is still not right. I of course never had it looked at, the horse was ok, so obviously all was well :p :D
