Well I don't know if I use it right or not but I put a layer on his stains, leave it a while then brush it off. It always still looks wet though!!

nope for legs i always apply chalk to damp legs and bandage, for areas like hocks that have a tinge..

i use a spray on white hair dye.. 3 quid from boots:D

I put it on the night before a show, after several baths.

Add a bit more on the morning, put on travel boots. When we arrive it is usually dry and just brushes out like chalk. The good thing is any dirt usually comes off when you brush it out.

Try the Peasridge Chalk - (google it if you want to buy some) - damp the leg then apply the chalk (it is loose rather than in a block) - put some onto a sponge and dab it on. Not sure how it works with hairy horses though!

thanks for this i bought some by mistake, i actually was intending on buying the chalk powder.

i got it then thought wouldnt it make her legs sore putting a bandage on over night, i think i may go back and by the chalk powder :/
