As title really! :P Looking into getting some of these, for everything up to BE90/100. The all rounders are expensive, but I wasn't sure if the normal brushing boots would give enough protection over the XC fences?

Cheers! :)

i use the general brushing boots, they are pretty secure and fit snugly. They seem to protect the legs well. I reckon they would do the job for xc but have not seen their other boots to compare!

I bought the Cross Country boots for the Dizzy one - given her leg waving I wanted allround protection.

She took a step sideways and the lockdown velcro strap came off one of the front boots :(. I sent them back to Tri Zone (I couldn't remember where I'd bought them from - they'd been sat in a cupboard for months due to Dizz being lame). Tri Zone sent another front pair. Three weeks later the same thing happened :(. I'm getting up the oomph to write the letter to send the second pair back :(

They are a bit of a drag when one first fits them as they aren't pre-moulded to go round the leg - they come flat wrapped around the cardboard holder. After a few goes they do mould to the leg.

The few times we did get to use them they were good as in didn't slip and didn't rub :). I'll be getting a different make for when Dizz goes cross-country (I live in hope lol). Just bought Little Cob the Woof Wear Ultra boots :)

OK thanks- so sounds like the normal brushing boots should do the job! I won't be doing a lot of xc for a while, so i'll get them for now and if the need arises i'll buy a set of XC boots- thanks everyone :)
