free to any idiot that wants him.

normal my lad is a saint so calm but tonight he decided to be a tw@t. he is kept close to a racecourse which holds regular races, which he is well used to. he used to race for 6 yrs. tonight he decideds that bucking and trying to gallop off on the lead rope is a good idea. ends up with me with a broken/fractured thumb (not going to sit in a+e for 4 hours to find out). don't you just love horses

oh dear...maybe he wanted to join in the race....I hope your not in too much pain with your thumb...ouchie!
bearing in mind it has been quite windy today, horses at work have all been total loons all day!!

go carefull as I nearly lost the use of my thumb when my old gelding reared up and fell backwards out of my trailer and like a twit I'd got the rope wrapped around my hand, because normally he'd never walk in you had to help him in and that day he walked straight in realised what he'd done and took me by surprise. went to A&E had it x-rayed and they found that my tendon had been severed as well as my thumb snapped in two and I needed a screw put in and the tendon sewn together.

Maybe we could do a BOGOF thingy, my TB has been an idiot all day, I think a combination of the gale force wind and 2 new mares in the field across the road from us has fried his little mind. He's normally pretty chilled but has spent all day acting like a complete plonker, roll on tomorrow, hope he wakes up in a better mood

Might be worth going to A&E. When I broke a bone in my hand recently I wasn't going to go and then a friend who is a doctor said to go as apparently if a finger is broken the end of it can go black and if that happens it may have to be amputated

I decided I was sufficiently attached to my finger that I would go!

PS swap you your horse for 2 lame ones if you are interested?

i said if it is still painful in the morning i will go to a+e. you don't want my nag as he keeps treading on stones and going footsore (is shod allround) and tbh i have had my fair share of vets bill in the last year and a half, thanks for the offer. good luck with getting your neds sorted

lol if only i had the money for 3 horses, even though he has damaged my thumb he is will never leave me until his time comes. we have been through think and thin together and i love him dearly he can be a little shite sometimes.
