Hiya, helping my friend look for a new horse for her daughter, shes moving up onto horses and her loan contract is up soon on her pony and is looking for her first horse.

Shes 14 and looking for 15-16.1. Mare of gelding any colour any breed bar full TB. Up to 8 years old and budget of up to 4500. Shes wants to do all PC activities she mainly has been doing dressage atm as the pony she has is pretty good but wants an alrounder. She wants it to have been out and competed doesnt matter if not with a PC but would be great if it had. Ideally wants something that has been placed at competitions buts doesnt nessary need to be a winning machine.

Greatfull for any links. :)

I just had a nose on the PC website, sorry if I've given you stuff miles away as I'm awful at places! :p

Your friend rang & spoke to my completly non-horsey mum so probaly got some iffy answers, from what my mother said it sounded like they wanted to do more BS(JA) stuff ?

Yer she said she spoke to your mum, i think be the sounds of things they though it was going to to much of a project or thats how your mum put things. And also the she hadnt been ridden in a while. I did tell her to ask for you.
They mainly want to do PC stuff, but i think if they wanted to BSJA stuff it would only be what pony club opens ect would be not massive foxhunters ect, there not fussed if the horse has no BSJA experience.

ahh okay, my mum's report was a bit bauge esp. as she starting going on about BSJ's (she meant BSJA bless her  )
well my girl is currently with a young showjumper for a month for some schooling & starting to affiliate her, so in a month or so she will be back on the market, if they are interested they are more than welcome to pop down as your onyl down the round :)
good luck!

competitiondiva, just wanted to say thanks for the this, we looked at the first horse on this post today and its looking very promising, seems to be as advertised and the girl really liked. Shes a lovely horse theyve got a second viewing next week so fingers crossed. :)
