I fell off a month or so ago, landed with massive thump on my bum and it went a fetching shade of purple. Boyf took pics, but won't be posting on here ... I wouldn't wish the trauma of seeing that on anyone

OUCH!!! OK this sounds mad, but try "massaging" the area around the edge. Like so - Put fingers, resting thumb really really lightly on skin so you just make a small dimple.

Then just move fingers, keeping contact with skin, in v small clockwise circles. Dont pull the skin, just think bout moving it fractionally.

I have had some knocks (and burns) that truly deserved to be evil. But doing this they have generally amounted to nothing and dont even hurt.

It doesn't hurt don't worry. I just thought they looked pretty funky! Someone else said about massaging them to make them go away quicker so I'll give it a go
