who watched dressage today and loved the no commentary option?

I really enjoyed being able to hear the music and not have to listen to waffle all the way through. good on the BBC for listening to those of us who wrote in and complained about previous dressage to music coverage...great that the option was available to either listen to commentary or not, should therefore have suited all. so could everyone post thanks on the BBC sports website so they realise how very helpful they have been and this will maybe encourage them to do it again.......I have already posted.....
surprisingly there doesn't seem to be a thread about the competition apart from talking about various personalities...some really good riding today and most horses looked happy, despite all the bad press......

I loved the commentary. Dressage for Dummies (which I am) and found it really informative

that's fine if you loved the commentary and it shouldn't be stopped just because some of us feel we don't need it....the way the BBC have done it is great and should suit everyone, so its win, win, I just think we should all send them our appreciation so they keep it like this for the future!!!!

Absolutely LOVED being able to watch the freestyles and actually hear the music... it ruined Olympia for me last Christmas.

There was a no commentary option? I recorded it from bbc2 and moaned all the way through watching it when I got home that the commentary was ridiculous! How did you turn it off please?

You had to press the right or left arrow on your remote

I think you could only have the no commentary option on the red button, and if you record it you wouldn't be able to go for that option so I don't think you could have done anything about it..... I am with miss c, Olympia was spoilt for me which was why I felt I had to complain. so glad I(and many others) did....

Ah that will be it - I'll remember that next time and make sure I'm home so I can watch on red button then. Now I think about it I moaned about them during Olympia too!

Hope they do this for Badminton...or at least be able to turn of Mike Tucker...!!
