Who works with Horses?

What jobs do you have working with horses or in horse related fields?

Being nosey and trying to gain inspiration for career change.

Also, for those that had normal jobs farily well paid and have given that up to work with horses, have you ever regretted it or is the best thing you could have done?

well... I run my own business buying and selling, but also do sales livery currently I 2 that are mine and 4 sales liveries and a friends pony. previousley id worked in sales, and knowing the business was about to move into my own yard etc I went and worked in a call centre for a short time to get a few hundred in the bank to chuck at things like website, colour co ordinate buckets/headcollars numnhas, and paid advertising.. now i just work my butt off every day to ensure yard is spotless and fields are poo picked and horses are all in fab condition.

Honesty its worth it. ive had some major lows recently and real bad luck with horses and fences (think 6.5k of horse meeting barbwire and nope it wasnt even in the damn field with said horse) 3 hour viewings 44mm of rain... but do you know when somebody wandered in off the street from a reccomendation from some one ive never heard of i KNEW i was half way there and id carry on working my butt of to be very reputable ..

go for it, theres so many different horsie paths you can take and if younge enough go and work on lots of different yards to find out what you excel in.
