I've a few ideas for various horse based invention ideas,

They range from tack, stable accessories, etc ~ so does anyone know who I could approach to either make me these items ~ or any ideas on patenting.

Thank you xx

I think the normal thing to do is to make it yourself and then patent it and try to sell it to a company i.e. if it were a rug you could try the leading rug manufacturers.

Be sure to register your designs internationally, otherwise you will find they are copied (at half the price) in India and China..TBH this won't stop people copying, but does give you a lever with retailers to buy your product and not the cheaper one

I know at Loughborough University (forget which department) the students were given a task to design an item/concept towards their degree. These students were always looking for something useful and an idea.

Could you not approach the universities and see if you could introduce your designs to the students for their yearly projects? I know at Loughborough the students were funded for this and if the idea was a really good one the university took it further.
