Who would welcome a French (no English) rider?

We employ a great young stable jockey for our Clevelands and Shagya Arabs. He spent two years on a Racing Yard, rides our Shagya Stallion at endurance and jumps.

I think it would be good experience for him to hunt in the UK. Must be south of England, who would act as helper/nanny and which hunt?

You might be best to contact a few hunts in the area you're thinking of and asking them directly if they could help you...the mfha website has a pack finder on it by region, so you can choose the most convenient and go from there! I speak French and hunt, but I'm not that involved with a certain pack at the moment so probably not much help....if he's not got access to a horse then make sure they can provide a hireling too. Good luck!

Thank you. I have contacts who hunt with the New Forest but they don't do much jumping. We have a young horse destined to event and so hunting would be an interesting experience for him and he would love it.
