Has anyone got a source please? Thunderbrooks has been out of stock all this year and just tell me they are waiting for more stock....

I just dont seem to be able to find any whole oats to soak and feed as sprouters :(

Sorry to jump on thread

I have inadvertently resurrected a contentious thread on the other forum

Oats for condition as opposed to energy/fizz - this is still a th8ng isn’t it?

The thinking/wisdom hasn’t changed on this in the last few years?

I’d go for farmers growing organic oats as seeds, otherwise whole oats for animal feeds are likely to have been heat-dried to prevent black mould and when you soak them they dont germinate for sprout feeding.
Seed for sowing wont have this harsh treatment and they’ll germinate very well.

i had this experience with whole barley - 25kg sack that only germinated 10% of the seeds. They went black in places anyway despite the supplier after the fact telling me theyd been heat-dried.
