Whole pack of polo's

So, I turned my back for 2 seconds yesterday and within that time Archie ate a whole pack of polo's complete with rapper!!

Should I be worried that he ate the whole lot still in the rapper? I was just abit concerned about the foil !

I really woyldn't worry that should pass through quite easily. I once had a horse that ate half a bale of hayledge complete with plastic and even that passed through!

The day I got Ronnie he tooked all the brushes out of my grooming kit and ate the whole packet of polos at the bottom (including wrapper). He spat out a bit of paper but the rest of it went through him fine (I assume - haven't seen it come out the other end

)

Don't forget Ronnie managed to eat two haynets the week before last , rings included, and they passed through. I'm sure Archie will be fine

One of our ponies has eaten a whole packet of polos, complete with the wrapper, on several occasions and it's never done him any harm!

Mine did exactly the same two weeks back and she is still going strong

My goodness - I'd be a bit worried about them eating a whole haynet and / or haylage bag(!), but I think that you'd be okay for a polo wrapper. Don't polo's have laxative properties if consumed in excess! (Not that that quantity would effect a horse I suppose!)
