Maes ex owner was up today seeing her, she said that she never looked so good, ok head has deflated lol. She had a wee ride on her and said that she will always have a soft spot for her. She then went on to say that if i ever sell her i should get more for her than i paid. Didnt understand until she said that her father is champion of 32 counties in Ireland and has recently been pts because of an injury. That people are going mad to get offspring of his. I couldnt care what her breeding is as shes just a big pet to me and i loved love her if she was bred with a donkey lol.
She offered me £800 for her foal (Romi), she wants to keep his name going (he belonged to her). So now im wondering whether to sell Romi.
Ohhh more good news, my vet came up to see Jacada, he gave her a full vet check and she passed with flying colours. He said she doesnt have a twisted foot, that hes revetted many horses after this so called vet. I called the girl who was interested in her, she said she doesnt know if she would take her now after what the first vet said and would i reduce the price. I said if she failed the vetting with my vet then yes, but because he couldnt find a thing wrong (spent ages checking her) then i couldnt reduce the price. I gave her my vets number and told her she was more than welcome to call my vet and ask him herself. My friends think shes just trying to get the price reduced, even though she said herself she didnt believe the 1st vet!
Oh well, nothing is going to make me unhappy today!!
