I have just e-mailed and asked about him:

He has no name, just come over from Ireland, only 8 months old, skinny, and hurting, and frightened....

I dont think they will let me have him cos I work F/T, and he is just a youngster, but he is lovely

I'm obsessed with trawling through rescue sites for lurchers so I know how you feel, and the weedier they look the more you want them. I don't see why they wouldn't let you have one. (you could always lie

I would always want to have 2 dogs because I work, and I dont like leaving one on his/her own, so another was always on the cards - just wasnt sure when, as Talisker is such a hard act to follow

Actually as soon as I posted this I felt disloyal to him

I did have a mental image of a lemon and white for my next greyhound though, and I wanted a dog.... so I thought it was worth a try...

You would obvioulsy care more for the dog than anyone else ever seems to have done

Sooooo frustrating, the lady I e-mailed has gone offline from the forum we were on and I have no answer

Maybe she is checking up on me with the lady who did my home check in May, but I e-mailed her my phone numbers too so will post if I hear anything

He is only 8 months though, so not sure I can see him behaving whilst I am at work - so I am not setting my heart on him!

Have just phoned my mam to see if any whippeys, at the greyhound rescue....the fella, said, he had a call to ask if he had room for 2, but then heard nothing....he is going to ring tomorrow to see what happened

Would definitely consider a lurcher, although I prefer them to look quite greyhound/whippet like if poss..... but then I'm a sucker, I would say yes to anything which is sweet
