Not as organised to remember to take a drink down the Yard !!

i got told at college i shouldnt as it could be poisonous.

i think its good to put some "bugs" in your body (does that make sense)

i also eat my toast without washing my hands!! thats right

I do it in the summer if I've forgotten my bottled water. Cold and refreshing. We've a battered old caravan where we all pile in and drink tea coffee etc and we always wash our cups under the hose pipe. We haven't keeled over yet!

I answered No. We have spring water on the yard and when I once filled the kettle on the yard, a tadpole came out

Also, when we have had a very hard down pour the water can get discoloured. Living in an ex mining area, there are all sorts of unsavories in the spring water.

this post makes me laugh - i'm a tink at the stables - no problem drinking from hose, or eating with dirty hands - if they are really bad, I'll give them a quick wipe on my dirty jods! sniff it and see milk in manky cups, and i'll share an apple bite for bite with my horse.

however at home, i won't drink water out the tap, always bottled and all food has to be in date and not look odd or slightly old and if I catch a whiff of anything dodgy, the contents of the fridge are dumped.

but back to front, my flat is a tip, while my stable is immaculate, not a spec of shavings out of place and scrubbed water buckets, probably cleaner than the tea room cups.

I'm confused, am I a snob or a scruff? or both?..what do those men in white coats want?
