Who's Expecting Foals?

Just realized some of you will be having babies in the next month or more, can I have piccies of your mares and info on due dates? Of course I shall be wanting piccies of the foals when they make their appearance too!

I suppose the TB breeders will be getting foals next month but can't imagine anyone else would want a January foal. Could be wrong though

Mojo is a January foal, do most people breed late spring babies?

mine are not due till march/april and april/may, no way would i want a jan foal

Ours are late Feb/early march onwards until may. We have had them as late as Oct and have had a January foal. He turned out fab, and to date the only yearling we have ever rugged!! The mare was in foal when we bought here, didnt realise how close she was though!

in the present climate, i hope very few are expecting foals.....

I know what you mean, but I suppose I assumed those on here who breed would be responsible ie breeding for the perfection of the breed or for themself.

My arab mare is due in May. I have bred her to keep the foal.

The fact that she is still pregnant is a miricle, as she had colic surgery 12 weeks ago.

i would normally be having a fair few due but 1 planned and 1 mishap next year that is it for me.

I have my first foal due in April, I will be keeping the foal and never plan to breed again! I miss riding my mare too much.
