Whos got a kolibri - Help!?

I have just bought my Jeffries version of the kolibri breastplate and just wanted advice on fitting it. Am i right in thinking it sits further forward on the neck than a normal hunting breastplate (in front of the shoulder?) and how tight should i have it? Sorry to be dim, but i dont want to throttle him the first time i use it!
Does anyone have a photo of their horse just standing still in one? That would give me an idea?

Hmm, its difficult to describe! The sheepy bit kinda sits in my horses shoulder, and is snug all the way round if that makes sense?! Only piccie I have is in my sig....but can show you the big version if that would help!?

ahhh I almost made a post on this the other day. I brought the same thing at Gatcombe - but it wouldnt fit everything - esp 17hh Irish Sport Horse! Had to take it back, and co-incidentally ran into the Benjamin from devoucoux the next so, so managed to avoid the 6 week waiting list and got the more expensive version fitted! Should be arriving any day now.

Only problem is that its 45 quid more - hopefully the leather will be nicer or something!!! (I want my moneys worth!)

Sorry to disappoint you Lifeslemons, I have the Devoucoux version and having compared the quality of the straps with the Jeffries one KatB bought IMO the Jeffies is better leather! Have to say that the other leather is comparable, just the straps to the saddle that are not so good on the Devoucoux.
