I have to sort out my passports. They should have been done two years ago. Weatherbys are no problem. All very easy, just send in passport with form giving my addy and all will be sorted (I'm not adding a name though £141 to name the horse, not likely!!!) but SHB(GB) are being useless.
I emailed them about adding a name to the passport and possibly adding the horses breeding ( have the covering slip for her etc) and never heard back. This was when I first bought her so I got a wee bit miffed and did nothing.
Just went online and to change ownership the previous owner needed to fill out the form they have when I bought her and then I needed to post it off. No one filled out any forms. Obviously I have the receipt for her but I can't travel back in time to fix it all and there are no prices anywhere on their website, nor any information about adding a name.
This has all got a bit ranty really but my questions are these
1) how much to name the horse if it only has a Basic ID passport
2) how much to add it's breeding
3) why don't they answer their bleddy emails?!
I am getting very tempted to send it Weatherbys and have it over stamped as they are a lot more helpful frankly!
