I have been trying to sell/loan my horse since early march and my YO was aware as i told him and he has seen plenty of people coming to view him. Anyway someone came to see him on the Sunday and said they wanted him i told him that he would prob be going the next day and that was as soon as i knew which i told him and ever since there is a real atmosphere between us and he just blanks me and i am the only person down there which means its very awkward. I have no contract with him!
I am looking for a new yard for my horses but now i don't want to tell him as i can't be doing with the hassle. What are your opinions am i in the wrong? and what should i do?
 
you aren't in the wrong, you told him as soon as you knew. are you sure he is deliberately blanking you. if it were me, i would actually go and confront him and tell him what happened.
are you leaving because of this????? i would try and see if you can sort it out between both of you first. if not then move.
 
I am moving because the yard is really bad hole in the wall of barn etc but i said hi to him and he just starred at me, when the people came to pick my horse up they just got the lorry backed up and the ramp down and then he comes out from no where and says he wants to get his tractor out and to me thats just being awkward
 
Had the same with old lady that owned our last yard, they have nothing better to do

I don't think you have done anything wrong at all, I imagine they might be having a bit of a panic because money is tight for everyone at the minute and so losing a horse from a yard is going to seem like a 'big deal' and sadly they are letting their own concerns contaminate their professional outlook and your relationship. Don't concern yourself with it though, you are not in the wrong.
 
Its just so annoying because they have turned 6 people down this week even though they have the room for them so i don't see why i should feel i have to stay there
