It's been ok here. I was up, all jobs done, ridden and back home having a cooked breakfast at 9:45am.
To top it all, little horse is coming on really nicely, so I'm a very happy bunny!

It is sunny in Kent and I have been on a wonderful hack on Badger for over 2 hours though the woods with my friend on her nutty WB.

Took son to Pony Club in pouring rain & thunder, lesson went ahead somehow, & arrived back in pouring rain & more thunder!

Got back to discover two TB wimps shivering their tails off & complaining. (Despite my post earlier this week saying a bit or rain on their backs won't hurt at this time of year!)
All in, rugged in thermatexs & cosy now, including me!

My two boys were booked in for their lesson at 10am this morning and it was chucking it down!
I was hoping they would have a jumping lesson today but ended up going out on a hack instead.
I was asked to go as one of the escorts with them and all three of us got soaked through.......just to make things worse, when we got back to the yard it stopped raining and the sun came out

Flamming typical! lol

We've just got showers here, so managed to ride during them (good thing too, it was too humid to wear a coat!), horses were full of themselves so it was a very fun hack

was going to then it started hammering it down, then started hailing, and gobstopper sized hailstones too! Poor d's nose was red raw and he's got sunburn at the mo too. Fair play to my popsicle though he got them in while i went to fetch some shopping, and him and the 3 of them all stood in the stables looking sorry for themselves. lol all dry and back out with their rain macks on now!

Yep, it absolutely chucked it down, but stopped when i got on, and held off till the minute i untacked!

Was woken up by thunder at 6.30 this morning, headed to the stables for my lesson (9am) and my OH's lesson (8.30am) and felt very smug when I discovered I'd be indoors and he was outdoors! Luckily for him it stopped just as his lesson started and he cantered for the first time so he is very happy

Got as far as getting three of them in

.

Little Lad was shivering, so changed his rug and left him out - he assumed The Position and managed to look thoroughly miserable lol: I tried to explain that it stops when it reaches the skin, but I don't think he was interested lol.

Gave the Dizz a groom and calmed her down a bit

Hadn't planned on riding, so that fact that we didn't means that I am officially at least not a wimp

QR I just got back from work where we did carriage rides because the show was canceld to save the ground. It pee'd it down all the way through, me and rich were sat shivering on the box seat then as we pulled into the yard the sun came out.....

When I chucked the boys out though I did get to watch them play for a bit. Although seeing as we've only had fritz since valentines day and he's done a leg, got a dozen tumours and sliced his eye so it was a little scary! lol

Lunged today but not raining... Had a 1 1/2 hour xc lesson at somerfore yesterday in the rain

was still brilliant

I had an hours lesson, and Jack was fantastic.
It wasn't raining at the time, started just as we'd finished. So been quite lucky with the weather.
