Who's started turning out yet ?

we've just started to get some lovely weather so decided to turnout tonight , horse is fully clipped but has 2 rugs on so guessing she will be fine ,

The only bit i'm worried about is the mud fever should I hold on for another few weeks or just bite the bullet ??

What's everyone else doing? Thanks in advance x :)

mine haven't been in, although they do seem to come into the barn at night when its dark, but as soon as day breaks they take themselves back out - they went naked about 3 weeks ago.

Mine have been out 24/7 for the last 3 weeks. Not much grass but putting out haylage and they all seem very happy!

They may well have to come in again if it gets very wet and the fields start to churn up, or if it snows and can't get haylage to them.

My big boy HF has been out for past 2 weeks - tho he's been brought into a small paddock with shelter in overnight & hay - but saved a lot of bedding in a fortnight :D
Tiny Fuzzy is now in at night on a diet....

Mind you, looking at forecast from tomorrow night onwards, its going to be getting wetter & wetter- and bluddy cold by the end of the weekend again

Mine came in for the night when it was boggy and wet but for the past few weeks they have been out 24/7. Very annoying weather as it is freezing overnight and very warm in the day ! so rugging is a nightmare!
