Im going to call vet out but im not sure if i need a vet or back woman out? our bigger pony just cantered up the feild and ramed in to my yearlings ribs (who was stood grazing) the yearling went flying hes very sore in his back ribs ect and looks lame the vets numbers busy im going to ring again do i ring back woman is well??

Vet firstly, this is an impact injury and more than you think may be going on.
He may well need the chiro out but he/she would advise vets first too due to the nature of how the injury was caused

I'd ring vet first.

Don't want to alarm you (which it will but better to be warned than not I think) that this happened with a yearling of mine when a cob mucking about didn't stop and ploughed straight into her. It smashed her elbow and she had to be put down; she was due for collection to her new home within the hour too, it was horrid.

Hope you have far better news and they're just a bit sore.

vet coming in bit his back ribs are very sore and he has a swollen back leg and just seams very down think he has just pulled things but he flew a long way and the bigger pony is big bulit poor pony all because there was hay in the field

When you put the hay in the field, make sure you put more piles than ponies and hopefully, they won't fight over it. Hope the pony is ok.
