Who's turning out in the daytime and haying in the field?

Are you haying in the field?

In at night, out in day in a small field hence the reason I'm giving hay in the field. If they were in the field they were bfore this one I wouldn't be giving them hay I don't think.

Mine have no shelter either artificial or natural in the field and the ground is clay and gets awfully boggy.

They come in November - Feb at night, get chucked out 5.30am with hay if it's frozen, and they get dragged back in at 6pm.

Temps are staying around 7 degrees at night now so mine have been out with hay the past 2 nights. They will come in if/when it starts raining as the field can't cope and they are barefoot and need some drying out time.

Both in at night and out during the day. When the grass is really rubbish they do get a bit of hay in their field, however, they both get fat if they just look at a blade of grass so don't really need it.

Both out during the day with a round bale of hay in the field. There is a little bit of grass to pick at so ideally I wouldn't but we have since discovered that if there is no hay in the field my TB trashes the fence and brings herself in

My three are out during the day with loads of haylage and in at night, with more haylage and hard feed.

Yes, two of mine are natives and "slightly" overweight but all three are losing weight, which is fab and all are looking healthy and alert.

They are thriving :)

In at night, out during the day, hay in the field . . . largely because there isn't much grass and when they get bored they get rowdy ;). We're hoping to stop putting hay out in another couple of weeks.
