Who's voting today?

I'm thinking I might hack down to the polling station to vote tonight. I'm sure I read somewhere that they let you do this and can provide someone to hold your horse. (although I think I'd be better having someone I know and trust hold the boy!)

It would make the whole experience more entertaining I thought, and get two jobs done in one.

Get one of the local candidates to do it – they’re usually gathered outside, trying to steal your vote on the way in. Feel free to tell them you’ll vote for them if they do: with an anonymous ballot they’re never to know any different! Lol.

I ran the gauntlet and made it this morning – the only time they spoke to me was on the way out to say hello as I passed by! Lol.

Tonight. For some reason known only to themselves, our council have changed from our local school to somewhere else a few miles away; we have to go through the next village to get there - that village also has a polling station so work that one out.
