Whose Going to the Stallion Showcase GB?

The list is just going up on their FB page and its looking to be a fabulous list of stallions this year, with some really exciting eventing and showjumping sires as well as the outstanding Woodlander young dressage stallions. A friend who isn't herself a breeder went last year, and had an absolute ball, watching some legendary names and talking to the the horses in the stables once they'd done their show. She wanted to spot the sire of her ISH gelding, and was chuffed to bits when she met him in person. I hope that H&H will do a write-up of the show this year

I hope to go, I went last year and really enjoyed seeing the boys in the stables and talking to the connections. The loose jumping competition was great to watch too.

I think that the loose jumping competition will be bigger and better this year, not just restricted to stallions : and there's a useful prize of 1,000 to the winner. There's also dressage to music on the Sunday, and a John Whitaker demonstration. And I love seeing the boys in their stables, you can tell so much about temperament seeing them out of the arena.

This is so true. Several really impressed me with their attitude despite a steady stream of visitors, as they were viewable all day and not just in the programme breaks.

Last years demos were really good and I for one learnt a lot so I am looking forward to this years.
