Whose horses are broken at the moment?

My horse is falling to bits at the moment and I'm at my wits end.Just want to know I'm not alone!
She has been mildly lame for a week or so - the boss farrier came out yesterday and said her frogs were rotten due to her having gel pads on so she's to get iodine dressings applied and kept in. This morning I went up to do her and noticed that her hock is swollen. I can only think that she's rolled in the box and whacked it off the wall, if its not down when Igo back up looks like a vet vist, what can go wrong next??
 
My horse broken too. He is on 6 weeks box rest but no one knows what is wrong with him. He spent 2 days at the vet school who said it might be a soft tissue injury in the hocks. I am currently so bored, I guess I should do some house work then.
 
Mine is broken for the forseeable !! So I shall join you

both mine! one pulled a tendon and the other has a chest infection but can still be ridden (the vet says working her lungs and strengthening them will help shift the goo!) but she has only just had her back fixed! Grrr!!!
 
Mine! Poor Ronnie's been plagued with one injury after another since July 2008. But he's off to Cambridge tomorrow for his PSD operation. So I'm hoping we can now put the injury period behind us. Doubtful, but I'm hoping for it anyway.
 
One of mine has a fractured pedal bone, the other is back in walking work after a pelvis problem - going well so far, hope it continues!
 
Mine. She has torn joint capsule in feltock joint. She has been on box rest for 7 weeks and has been doing walk work for 3 weeks. She will be out for most of summer i think

I can so win this.... heres the list within the last month:

Large graze on face,
Cuts all over body,
Infected cut on hock thats been treated with 10 days normal antibiotic, 6 days penicilin injections and STILL won't heal
new cut on head
swelling around suspensory ligament
poulticed foot due to possible foot abcess

on top of
Flat/possibly rotated pedal bones, heart murmur, damaged eyes, tendon injury, scar tissue in knee, asymetrical pelvis, foot soreness, lameness on 2 legs, sore back,

Do i win??

Joe is broken, had full lameness work-ups, nerve bocks and x-rays and still can't find out what is actually wrong. Now coming to the end of week 6 of box rest and vet coming again Monday to re-assess.
No comment on Baileys........
 
My horse has just come home from the Royal Vet College without a diagnosis, just a 'good luck with him' parting comment.

I've another pony who has just broken out in skin problems despite her creams, anti allergy jabs, and change of diet so back to daily baths etc.

Another pony with foot problems who has just had heart bar shoes fitted and is hobbling around,

another pony who is suffering terribly with the pollen and is unrideable,

a youngster who got caught on a gate and cut his chin open,

a retired veteran who has decided its his time to get really really stiff and swollen legs.

The only 'normal' one is a psycho that I've got to try to find a home for.

Yup, things really couldn't be any more perfect...! Ho hum, off to eat worms.
 
Sorry I think I win, mine has been 'broken' for 2.5yrs without a firm vet diagnosis and I can;t afford to buy another one (he was rather expensive and isn't insured for loss of use, ho hum.)
 
This thread is sooo depressing!! So many broken horses and heartbroken/frustrated/broke owners!! I'm so tempted to take up mountain biking instead!!
