We live in a small hilly village at the top of a single track untreated lane.we can grit it ourselves but then have to get up a hill the other side so not risking horses legs.the show we were planning tomorrow is cancelled due to ice and more snow forecast and -5 tonight.not likely to improve for a few days so not going anywhere.any one else iced in.

we can get the cars about but the horses won't be ridden :-( the track to our house is icy and the road just outside our land is like an ice rink. haven't been out since wednesday and i'm starting to get grumpy - i need to ride!!
feel sorry for everyone who is finding it hard to even reach their stables at the mo, must be a nightmare.

I also have a show tomorrow, hasn't been cancelled "yet" but the start time has been moved back an hour, but not sure if i want to risk going out on the roads in the morning.... my car park is like an ice rink and the sand school is frozen
