Horseball? theres a training session on saturday that im thinking of taking my 14yr old welshie to, but just abit worried about hurting him.

does anyone play it?

I would think if it's an intro session take him (you're talking abt Z right?!). You'll be focussing on acclimatising him to the ball, passing, and some picking it up. When played in a match horses do need to be fit, there's lots of short sprints and turning at high speed. Did it as a kid and loved it! Have fun!

I used to do it when it was first introduced. I would def. take him along to have a go. Hopefully it has changed a lot since I did it as women weren't allowed on the international team back then as we had breasts that got in the way when trying to shoot and also we got hurt more easily than men

Every other country had women on their teams though.

So I stopped playing as we were better than the blokes at the time and it annoyed me.
