Why advertise a horse for sale if

no one is there to answer the phone? My friend has rang about a horse for sale in last week's H & H 4 times now and there's been no answer from either the landline or mobile

She's left 1 message on mobile but not received a call back. I've suggested she forgets it and keeps looking. Do you think that's a fair comment to make or not?

If those calls have been over a couple of days, that is a perfectly fair comment IMO, if your friend has done all those calls in the last hour, that comment maybe isn't so fair, if you get what I mean!

keep calling at diffrent times I work nightshift and dont answer any phone and might only be told two days later that someone called thats kids for you.

You see if I was advertising and had difficulty answering the phone I'd give an email address or record a special answerphone message or something.

Hubby works from home and finds the phone very distracting so his website actually asks people to leave a message as the phone can't always be answered, I always tell potential customers this too. He can then return all his calls at once. Used to drive us crazy the number of people who wouldn't leave a message!

She's rang both numbers during the day and in the evening upto 9pm since last Friday. She tried again yesterday and still no reply.
Oh well plenty more horses for sale
