Why are dogs so great at...

Standing exactly where you want to be???!!!!
My dogs are driving me nuts, they are always under my feet. If i stand up, they all follow me around the house, and there's always at least one stood in the doorway or generally tripping me up!

I've told people that if I don't turn up for work they must come and check that I'm not lying in a heap at the bottom of the stairs as I'm sure they will be the death of me one day!!

LOL - mine are exactly the same, always hanging around, if I go up to the loo, my spaniel follows me and waits outside the door!! - its worse than having children!!

I think thats a spaniel thing - mine does that and had to follow me everywhere. Only exception is after about 10pm when he takes himself to bed and refuses to move until morning!

Not only Spaniels do this--my collie cross always follows me up to the bathroom As well as almost everywhere else,and gets in the way.
As oneofthepack says why do they always walk backwards?
lab and collie cross do this and look at you with their appealing eyes.

My Belgian Shepherd (in avatar) races me to the bathroom!! She likes to get there before me and stick her head down the toilet!!!!

I don't know why, luckily I never use one of those rimblock smelly things, I am scared she will be poisoned by it! She is always under my feet or getting locked in the stable I have just come out of!!

Tripping grannies up is the best plan.
Standing/lying (particularly the old golden retriever who takes yonks to get out of the way!) in the kitchen/in front of the aga.

at least your dogs want to be with u! mine 9/10 times wouldn't care if I was tehre or not!!!! (he is only 6mnths old! but kind of expected that to mean he would be more clingy!)
