Looking for a horse to loan, nothing too special, just 16hh+++ and able to hack/jump/school. But i just cant seem to find one that doesnt have navicular, laminitis, retired, recovering from injury or too crazy to ride!! I dont particulary want a veteren as im young and want a horse to match my glory days...(i.e. under 13yrsish)

urghhh stress!! All i want is a neddie to love and ride!!

*sob*

theyre all ponies and the one that has potential has been removed :(

Ok well ive looked on:-

horsemart, equine ads, preloved, horsehunter,horsestoloan....etc

Im looking for a 16hh++ under 13yr old that has ability to school/hack/jump/hunt.

Do not care about breed/colour/gender.

I can have a live in or out (have a stable ready and waiting) but would prefer live out to keep my mare(retired) company!! If you find anything anyone please let me know!!! I weigh about 11st so dont particularly like riding skinny tbs- i feel a bit mean. But other than that, cob, wb, Ish, Id etc nottt picky at all :(

Thanksss

Hi, My yard owner has a 16,2 tb x mare for loan ATM. Its her daughter's horse, think she is 13, very sensible, good hack, done PC, BSJA, tetrathlon, eventing, dressage. Unable to sell due to market so she is looking for a loan home. I dont like mare's but she is very sweet and easy to do. Gets dragged out of field and worked with no protest. PM me email and will email you the ad if you like? H

You don;t have to be good to ride him! He is very straight forward, the little helpers have been hacking and schooling him!
What about Clares horse-Dottie????

Id love to loan Dottie lol... i emailed her back before i found Aramis, but now hes gone lame (im so lucky lol) and she wasnt sure because she was still recovering at the time or something like that. But id have to move the horse to my new yard so can afford to keep Lexi...If you could mention something to her thatd be amazing??

What are you wanting for Bronson? To stay at HP??

There might be a few people on the club interested???

P.s. id be very interested if you thought id be ok for him!! Understand if not...

She wants her to move yards so that would be ideal. She is back in full work now too.
Ideally would want Bronson to stay here but open to options to a nice home.

The one's I have found are either crazy eg leap about etc...or are too old or they have to stay at yard...
I'm in same situation as well as Little_Rou we are both looking, for the same type of horse lol.

I think I have found one or two...have one in mind that I may pursue?...not sure yet?.

Alot of people aren't looking to loan out due to bad experience's etc...shame cos there's people like us that are desperate for a new horse.

I'll keep my eyes out for you too :)

there are lots of horses out there but they always turn outto be a million miles away or some other obstacle.

I've been considering putting my 16hh tb gelding out on loan but can't seem to find anyone or maybe I just don't know where to start.

Its strage as no one seems to what to loan my horse and he is fab!

Have you advertised anywhere online hailey?? I havent seen it if you have and ive looked EVERYWHERE!!! I think hed be snatched up if you put him open to the public....

Id have him but i dont think i could do him justice...you set the bar very high lol!!! :)

He is stunning though, im sure you could find hima lovely home!!

Best place's for advertising seem to be Horsemart, Horsequest, preloved, equineadverts - infact I have had some good responses from this site, horsehunter, rightequine, equineonline horsedeals, and so on....just to give an idea there's plenty of people out there right now searching for a horse to loan, but you will need to be prepared to weed out the timewasters, not suitable people etc....just ask them lots of numptie questions and see how they respond..lol...

Can only try...good luck....or word of mouth also helps....find this the best way to be honest or tack shops feed shops and the like.

We were thinking about buying something to work on for my sister while her TB is still being treated and in recovery but we wouldnt have a massive budget. its just so she can come with me on hacks and sponsored rides when the weather picks up a bit. but weve been talking today and think it may be best if we gota loan horse aswell. so we will begin hunting i think. so if any one knows a 15'3+ that can move to a private yard in bedfordshire. age not a problem let me know. weve got 3 others 14'2arab X 15'2 cob and jase her 16'2 TB.

I have got a 16.2hh ex racer who is honest as they come, his sharer gives up at the end of the month and I was thinking of selling, but would loan to the right home :D
