Why cant I always see posts?

I have just been reading a thread, and halfway down the first page someone has quoted something I had not seen. I scrolled back up but still couldn't see it? Then the next post was also a quote I couldn't see in the main thread. Its not the first time but i've always assumed id missed it while scanning, but this was right at the beginning of the first page.

Any ideas?

I've noticed that at times too.

You have blocked the user. Or they or TFC have deleted the post. It still shows in quotes.
