find a horse to buy??!!

After a lot of consideration I have decided to sell my mare - that's not a problem as have a family friend trying her on Friday then quite a few people who want to view her over the weekend if said friend decides not to go ahead. Reason being I feel I'm just to big for her. I don't want to cause her any problems in the future.

I have been looking around - if this friend does buy her I'll have a budget of about £2.5k ish. I'm looking for something 16.1hh + (max 17.2hh), can't be a TB as I'm a chunky monkey! I've followed up with an ID but now the girl isn't replying to phone calls or emails. Must be safe as a friend hacks out for me in the week, would like it to hunt, sj, xc and do working hunter with.

I thought there was a credit crunch and people were desperate to sell??!! I'm based Notts/Lincs/Leics border - if anyone knows of anything would you let me know!!!

There is a credit crunch HOWEVER I had been looking for weeks and weeks and the only things in my budget of £3000 were either lame. mad or old or fine TB's

I have finally got on on Tuesday from Malven Sale. I must say I don't think I will ever bother chasing half way around the coutry again!!

Depending on just how chunky you are I would remember that a lot of TB's are as chunky as ID x TB. My new one is not going to be a fine TB

Malvern have another one of these sales around the 14th december if you haven't found anything by then
 
Probably not what your after but if you don't mind putting in a couple of months work I've got the perfect horse for you-she had a year off due to her owner loosing interest and has just had 4months reschooling and is coming along very nicely, but does need to be ridden in a consistent and correct way-so not novice ride-but has BSJA money and BD points and IMO would make a wondeful hunt horse with a bit of time. i am exactly where you are and got wat u described on that budget, so u might probably find one, i could cast my eye over horsemart for u? i love that website and have nothing else to do so seriously wouldnt mind
