 On our regular hack, we have to go over a train line, then under one. (You can't go any other way as it is on the lane near the back of our yard) Anyway, we are a bit sad because we know what time every train is :o There is one at quarter past the hour that goes one way, then a minute later, one goes the other way, so we plan the hack around the train times. Well this morning, one came one way and the other didn't! We waited for ages, then decided to carry on as horses were getting bored, and b****r me it went over the bridge as we were going under! Does anyone else have to be careful of something particular when on their usual hack?

I have to avoid the lane that goes past the village primary school at start and finish time - just chaos, with so many cars parked stupidly.

Although if I am in a mischievous mood I will ride up that way just to annoy the lazy parents who should really be walking their kids to school ! I love seeing their grumpy faces as they have to wait for my ploddy cob to get out of their way :)
