Hi learned friends,
I'm having some trouble with my riding at the moment;
In trot and canter my knees keep popping forward over the knee rolls of the saddle. If I lengthen my stirrups to try and give myself my room before the knee rolls, I can't keep hold of my stirrups in the faster gaits and end up stirrupless desperatley trying to find them!!
Other than that the saddle is not made for me (its my friends saddle made to fit her and her mare that I'm riding) is there anything I can do position wise to help keep myself where I need to be in the saddle? She is much smaller and shorter than me so I'm sure that the size of the saddle has something to do with it but has anyone got any tips for my position that I can try?
Muchos Gracias
