Why do people ask for advice?!

and then just bloody well ignore everything you have told them and instead they listen someone who knows jack [****] about dogs but think they know it all as they have now owned one for all of 8 weeks

the reason, I don,t, even for all the money in the world, use my expensive behavioural qualifications, to help people out, it all goes on more appreciative rescues

Two people saying A but not B, slightly frustrating.

Even though I've only attended courses with my dogs, talked to people out walking, I have encountered more than one person first asking for advice and then not listening to it. I have a feeling it usually is about the other advice seeming less time-consuming/easier and involves only changing the dog and not themselves.

I still remember a Boxer about 16 or so years ago, 1 year old being perfectly normal happy Boxer, but the family expected he wouldn't need more training than what actually took place at the course, and after the course he was euthanized.
