Enter friesians in unregistered mountain and moorland classes and why on earth would a judge not kick them out.
No sour grapes my ponies are all registered so were properly placed in their classes but was very amused to see friesians, hafflingers coloured cobs, and heinz variety ponies and horses in the Mountain and Moorland class

Some of them honestly do not understand & think that its a class for the hairy brigade.
If some show organisers put a little more detail into class listings, that would help (particularly smaller local shows) where new-comers quite often do not know what class to go in so enter several....

Unregistered is an absolute minefield tho - anything 'hairy' who might have a grandparent who could have been a welsh D or a Forester etc etc tends to go in these - and they are also a judges nightmare!

Also, if there was a 'foreign breeds' class (reg & unreg for local level) then those breeds could have somewhere to enter too :) - and list those breeds too & the caveat; if in doubt about your breed of horse/pony please contact the secretary prior to entering

Its similar to those mums entering little petal on the lead rein into open ridden classes & then being miffed that they are asked to leave as petal hasn't learnt to trot yet, let alone canter on her own.
