Little porky pony was bought a smart muzzle. He destroyed it within days meaning I had to buy him another.
I attatched a fly fringe to it, and he escaped from the field and lost it somewhere within about 30 acres so i never did find it again.
He was given a new companion, who he will quite happily allow to swish flies from him but when asked to return the favour he kicks seven bells out of her.
He got a gunky eye which the flies decided they loved. As soon as he whiffed fly spray near me he wouldnt let me catch him let alone apply any by spray / sponge / roller.
I bought him another fringe, pink, all singing all dancing expensive jobbie. Put it on yesterday and he's totally destroyed it.
I think he's done it on purpose. I found a trail of pink strings across the field, and at the end of the trail one browband minus the strings... I am stubborn and collected up all the bits and told him I would repair it and that he WOULD wear it... and he stood looking at me asif to say "just you try and watch what happens"
I do sometimes wonder if I have the most ungrateful pony in the country
