We're either mad, stupid, or stupidly in love!!!

My yearling has been pushing the boundaries for the past couple of days when turning him out, he's been coming in at the end of the day like a puppy dog! Then today he ended up dragging me and kicking out, ending in both hind legs in my chest! An ambulance journey, (after passing out!) 3hrs at the hospital and 2 cracked ribs later I'm home!! Pain killers doing well so far!! Scarey at the time, needless to say I'll be getting a controller headcollar for the yearling now!! At 15.2 at 1 yr old, he can't learn naughty habits, he didn't do it in nast, just very anxious to be out and got beside himself and silly me didn't let go soon enough!

Insanity or some kind of addictive personality methinks!

Hope the painkillers keep working and you mend quickly - the horses I work with are all sky high at the moment. At least the older ones tend to respect your space most of the time.

My yearling threw himself in front of the quad this morning

Get well soon!:D

The last couple of times I've ended up in A and E with an equine related injury (is there any other sort?) the doctors have asked the very same question. We are all terminally bonkers with suicidal tendencies, according to them.

Sounds like a nasty accident, hope you mend quickly.

My youngster nearly ran right over the top of me this afternoon, I only avoided injury by doing a spectacular rugby dive in the mud. Must be a day for it....
